they did last year. As of right now, BYU sits at #56 in the NET, which would likely put us on the wrong side of the bubble. I know it's early, but it's not too soon to be a little concerned about making the tournament. It's not even close to a guarantee this season.
We have a young team that needs to start to gel ASAP. There's not much room for error left.
My one slight criticism of all of the recruiting success that KY and friends have had is that maybe we should emphasize experienced players in the portal more than incoming freshmen. Obviously I'm not referring to Staton or Dybantsa, but experienced transfers tend to be more predictable and perform better faster than freshmen.
