interesting, but mostly not exciting or riveting. There’s a lot of dead time between bouts where people just talk and eat and drink. Kids might find it boring after a while, especially younger ones, unless they are really into sumo or anime or Japanese culture in general. We left our little ones home for that, just went with other adults.
