People abusing WFH is the biggest reason for this growing trend
2nd and 3rd jobs on company time. Side-hustles. All of that. It is not about "getting your work done" it is about how much additional capacity do you have?
If you have enough capacity to work more jobs or side-hustles, then you have more capacity to do more work for your primary employer who is paying the most for your time.
