It’s not a zone. They are switching almost everything. That is why there is
such a big learning curve. There has to be a ton of communication to know who is staying with their man and who is switching.

It almost looks like a matchup zone but it’s not. Sometimes they will follow their man all the way through the key from one side to the other. Sometimes they will pass their man off. IMO, it’s probably too sophisticated for less skilled 18 year olds but we will see.

Watch the nba and see how often they switch. It is similar to what a lot of pro teams run.
