I don't get it. KY just said in post game that they intentionally gave up 3 pointers and focused on the paint because
Fresno doesn't shoot a high percentage of 3's. But then talked about how Fresno ended up shooting better than their norm from 3 tonight.
Well yeah... playing soft D on the perimeter will tend to enable teams to shoot better than their average. Perhaps they come into the game with a lower average because other teams know how to guard the perimeter better and still cover the paint well.
