It would make more sense that the endorsements make up the bulk of the funding with university collective money making up the rest (~$1M). Either way, I'm not arguing that the teams weren't on equal footing. I'm sure they were. It seems clear that AJ made his choice based on other factors, the money thing being equal or close enough.
