I guess it depends on what "Elite" means, but Coach Odom has shown what can
happen at a G5 in 2 short years, even with a history of being a bottom 10 team for 40 years. UNM at least has been decent to good in the past 15 years for a season or two.
I think coaches who spurned the G5 in the past might at least listen to a pitch from someone like UNM.
