...he really struggles just to make the easy throws like the swing pass to the RB in the flat, to the sideline for WR screens, or short passes over the DL (his sidearm delivery makes the pass too easy to knock down by DL's). Jake is good with big throws between the 20's but he struggles inside the 20's because that's when defenses often dial up the pressure and the check down throws are what's available. I haven't tracked what his completion pct is for those throws but it can't be very good. The one short pass he's been pretty good with is the quick slant to Chase Roberts but that's not a check down throw.
