The facts show that Bovee was likely a really good guy who made a few bad choices. The new AD didn't have to retain Bovee if she didn't want to but she chose to. She only fired him after the 2020 investigation came to it's conclusion. There are whispers that Bovee was working behind the scenes to undermine her too and that may have cemented her decision but the DOJ and 3rd party investigation found that he didn't follow all Title IX rules.
