Clemson would have 4 losses and really no good wins. No way they'd get in. Miami would definitely get the nod if it came down to choosing a 2nd ACC team.

ASU's head-to-head win over BYU would probably give them the edge, but I really don't see a 3-loss team getting in unless it's an SEC team. Also, an objective look at the resumes pushes it in BYU's favor:

• BYU's best wins > ASU's best wins
  • BYU: SMU, KSU, Baylor
  • ASU: BYU, KSU, Kansas
• BYU's losses > ASU's losses — even if you set aside the conf. champ game loss
  • BYU: ASU, Kansas
  • ASU: TTU, Cincy

Boise State...I don't think you were referring to them.
