The report uses cars from the past 5 model years (2018-2022).
Consumer reports use to use last 3 model years, but I read it was 5 years now.
They add in safety and historical trends. Some weight given to average cost of repair.
Overall that list seems pretty accurate, kind of surprised to see a difference in Kia and Hyundai. . . Is it cause Hyundai's luxury cars count as Genesis?
