It's not angioedema. Her swelling has lasted too long and is too isolated to invoke a systemic allergic response.

Most of these end up being contact dermatitis. Cosmetics are the first cause in a teen girl.

We often use topical pimecrolimus for about a week. It works well, but if the swelling and rash return, we often have to do patch testing to figure out whether she is doing it to herself (foundation, eyeliner, mascara, or cover-up)
