If we went to 8 game conf schedules, a requirement should be to schedule 1 non
conf game vs an SEC/B10 opponent every year. Or every 2 out of 3 years with the off year requirement vs an ACC team.
Another should be no more than 1 G5 game per year, could maybe play 2 if the G5 teams are both bottom 1/3rd tier programs (Sam Houston St, UTEP, Akron, or UMASS types).
Last requirement I’d make is your annual FCS game needs to come after week 7 or midway through the season.
