B10/SEC if a 12-1 Boise gets the bye over a 11-2 BYU or other 11-2 Big 12 team.

Mayyybe there’d be some actual argument for Boise over 11-2 ASU given their losses to Texas Tech and Cincinnat, and also just squeaking by 2-9 Mississippi St and 6-5 Texas St. But even then I’d imagine an 11-2 ASU would be higher than 12-1 Boise 9 times out of 10 in previous years.

But 12-1 Boise over 11-2 BYU? No way. Especially not if SMU wins the ACC. That would be asinine
