I’m no expert but from my own lived experience that seems to not be true. Just in my lifetime I have noticed a giant reduction in the coral at the places I’ve been. Hawaii, akumal, cozumel all have way less than they did a couple decades ago. And the amount of dead and bleached (soon to be dead) coral in the Great Barrier Reef legitimately blew me away.

It’s hard to believe the rest of what someone says when you know for sure that one of the things in their argument is dead wrong
