But it's not too much of a stretch to imagine the situation going south in a really bad way.

What if BYU somehow pulled off the Hail Mary? How would the ASU fans standing at the edge of the field during the final play have reacted?

I know BYU fans have stormed the court and field on occasion and it was really fun. Part of me would be sad to see those experiences go. But I'm not sure it's worth the risk to the players to let it continue.
