Theoretically a P4 could get left out but unlikely given strength of schedule. Big 12 is pushing its luck though

If BYU wins CCG they are in no matter what. Right? Isn't it the 4 league champions or something? I could be wrong.

IMO, I think it’s likely a 2 loss Big 12 champ ends up ahead of BSU
