I think it was more panic because he completely hosed the clock management on his last drive and
knew that if it blew up on him he'd be a laughing stock.
Giving up 50 yards in an effort to bleed the clock when are inside the 10 yard line and have a back like Skattabo is inexcusable. Run it up the gut a few times until you go ahead by 2 scores with 10 seconds left.
