that 1st drive, that long pass to Roberts up the middle, was clear PI, with blatant hands to the face, and with the DB's back to the ball. He couldn't clam to be going for ball. Roberts knew it, and I was surprised Kalani did not blow a fuse. Why? It set the tone for the rest of the game and killed a lot of drives, as ASU figured out they could just interfere with impunity, and they did.
Overall, the B12 refs, including the refs this game have been / were OK, light years better than P12 refs, but they whiffed on the PI's, and some pretty blatant holds on BYU defenders that affected the outcome, IMO. Of course, a lot of things affected the outcome.
