I do know that his heart is with BYU, but that he was extremely hurt by how things went down.
He has hard feelings towards Kalani, but he also understands that he wasn't Kalani's choice. The head coaching job came with conditions and Ty was one of those conditions. I believe this was a terrible mistake by Holmoe and certainly one he wouldn't make again. Ty has harder feelings towards the administration as promises were made, but not kept.

I know that Ty is a lot more willing to cheer for BYU and Kalani than his wife is.

I think (just my opinion) that everyone involved knows Ty would have been a much better QB coach/assistant OC to start off.

Really a sad blotch on BYU football.
