There are three types of teams at the end of every season.
1. Also-ran teams that didn't do anything particularly notable.
2. Teams that had excellent seasons but came up short in a big game or two somewhere along the way.
3. The one team that went all the way and won the national championship.
You're not being rational if you "hate" being in the second category.
