Yes, as of now, but they’re a team that was in the hunt.
And until they lost today, they had a legit shot at the CCG. That’s the goal, to have 2 or fewer losses and be in the hunt.
If BYU can be like this year’s ISU/CU/BYU/ASU, that’s a great spot to be in.
Every team will be toast one year or another. The hope is not necessarily to be undefeated, but to be in the hunt at the end of every year where those games matter. Hence why it’s better to be ASU than CU this year. But both were in a good position coming into today.
