Josh Allen being elite, which I literally said he was, was because of where he went and them sticking with him. Plenty of other franchises wouldn't have. The Bills 100% built that for him. In year 3 he had a first team All-Pro at WR and a 2nd team All-Pro at WR. To go with a very good offensive line. The Bills did a great job setting him up for success after a putrid first year.
Joe Burrow is 33-29. He is a really good QB, but when I think of succeeding I am thinking of guys taking the place where they are at and making them perennial contenders like Buffalo. He had a great playoff run in year 2, but how can you tell me a .500 ball club is a perennial contender? You can't. To be honest I'm not sure Burrow isn't a better QB than Mahomes, but location 100% matters.
Did you see me write that 7-4 is a good start? Those were my exact words. Calling Jayden Daniels a success after 11 games is just wrong. RGIII was similar and not a success.
Nothing Stroud is doing is elite this year. The Texans are winning with the 24th best rated QB in the NFL. Might have something to do with the coach they hired 2 years ago.
