It's the age old question. A million dollars now or $1 doubling every day.
Playoffs now or more playoff appearances in the future. If BYU loses game 1, the Big 12 continues to be a one bid league. If the conference becomes a 2-3 bid league, BYU would make the playoffs much more frequently
