Then look at what happened to SUU after most of Lamb’s players left. Total regression back to what they were right before he got there (19 game losing streak before he took over).
He also coached SUU’s first ever draft pick, beat multiple FBS programs, led SUU to its first ever FCS playoff appearance, transitioned them to one of the toughest FCS conferences where in his last season he won a conference championship, had two more players drafted and coached the FCS defensive player of the year that year.
For SUU I’d say that is VERY successful.
