It's amazing. My fishing buddy owns 5 acres north of Battle Ground, WA.
He's got a creek that flows through the property. I stopped by one June and the small creek wasn't really flowing but had a few pockets with water. He told me that he had adult coho salmon in the creek the previous fall. We walked down to the culvert by the road which had a decent sized pool. There were a bunch of salmon smolt in the pool that missed heading out while the water was flowing. Just crazy they spawn in a small creek that is basically dry for 4+ months out of the year.
