Those aren't the only data points.
Notre Dame has a bunch of big wins scoring 40, 50, and even 60 points...and more recently they have a nice streak of blowout games: 49-7, 31-13, 51-14, 52-3, 35-14.
BYU hasn't had a 20+ point win since the first half of the season...and our recent trend is a string of close games against mediocre competition: 38-35, 37-24, 22-21, 13-17.
