We use the starlink when traveling in the RV and it's paid through work. Regularly get download speeds over 200 mb/s and upload around 30. Yes it's not "comparable" to synchronous fiber but it's plenty good/fast enough for nearly everything that people need to do nowadays. And it's portable which to me is the best option. I can go anywhere in the country and have fast speeds no matter where I am. So many state parks around here are cell phone dead zones and the starlink keeps me completely connected.
