The top two playing in the Big 12 championship game will be ranked. The winner will leapfrog Boise. If it is ASU, that would be 3 wins over ranked opponents in its last four games. I doubt UNLV and WSU finished ranked and even if they do ASU still has the momentum.

If CU wins out it will meet the eyeball test because it brings eyeballs. The Fiesta Bowl and networks would take ASU or CU any day over Boise because it will sell out or get great ratings.

If BYU wins it at 12-1 or 11-2 our resume is stronger. Especially if SMU beats Miami.
