Note, this isn't "red/blue zone" plays within the 20, but what happens within the 10 and the goal line. As part of that analysis, it seems useful.
I'm struck by how few plays we actually got within that criteria. For an offense that's been averaging over 30 pts/game, we didn't have very many shots at it these past two games.
I'm not motivated enough to dig up the previous game data for comparison, but if I think about how many of our scores have some from beyond the red/blue zone — all the special teams and defensive scores, as well as our big/special plays from the opponent 30 or 40ish — that makes me wonder if we've had this struggle all year long, but it's been well camouflaged.
