It seems they have a big donor willing to put up most of the cash? They claim it will be 100% privately funded. We'll
see if the taxpayers end up picking up a chunk of the bill?
If I were that donor, I'd rather give $30M per year for the next 20 years to NIL rather than build a new stadium. Winning in a historic stadium >>>>> losing in a new flashy stadium.
