I think the answer below is my answer. We were getting almost 5 YPC and pass pro
was struggling bad, thus Jake wasn't playing real well.
It's a strategy that would have won the game handily if Jake hadn't thrown the pick before half and/or we hadn't put ourselves behind the sticks with penalties and a bad audible on 3rd down at the end, or heck, even if KU had not been lucky enough to have the ball bounce off our guy who had a perfect chance to recover it on the 5. Change the interception to a TD, or just erase the muffed kick, and we win the game.
