the "most deserving" teams to get in w/ Georgia, Texas, and Alabama having a strong enough resume to warrant inclusion. Ole Miss and Tennessee would be just outside. If also trying to weigh team quality, then I would include Ole Miss as well. Tennessee would be a borderline team (somewhere in the 11-13 range) with Texas A&M being just outside. That would give 4 and possibly 5 teams in the playoff. Here's teams that would be in-

Really the question comes down to whether or not Tennessee or Notre Dame is more deserving for that final at-large spot. I don't think Texas A&M has any argument whatsoever of being included instead of Indiana or Penn State. I'd personally put Tennessee ahead of Notre Dame, but I expect the committee will have Notre Dame ahead.
