That's where Arod gives it away. That's not particularly unique, I think the issue with Arod is lack of identity. Lots of teams will line up with a very obvious package and you know what's coming. Really good offenses can consistently execute regardless.
That's the difference. Arods offenses have been anywhere between bad and good but never really good. Lack of an identity is the reason for that. There is nothing his offenses have ever done that they excel at consistently. The last time a BYU offense had a true identity was with Jaren Hall and allegier. That offense could pick 5-6 yards almost at will with the inside zone and delayed QB draw.
