In the end, I feel like the anti-test score crowd was driven by emotion and found some favor with some parts of academia.

But the better-academic investigators have prevailed. A standardized measure of ability is a powerful tool and is not a hindrance to minority admissions. It seems obvious, and I'm glad the data bore it out.
