They have one loss and are in great shape and are valued about the same as the ACC 1-loss teams.

I do agree with your comment in comparison to independence. We would be screwed with one loss during independence

If anything, the playoff committee seems to be devaluing the Big 12 and ACC, which I find really annoying.
