I believe that in part they earned the #6 ranking but as to overall play esp. over the last 4 games I have to agree with the attitude that BYU football at times did not look much like a top 20 team even. Reality checks include barely squeaking by OSU with 10 seconds >> OSU was on a 3 game losing skid prior to coming to Provo > then playing what I would call a lackluster 2nd half vs. UCF ( I don't care if those last 2 scores by UCF were fluky or what it looked horrible) > then playing a Ute team riding a 4 game losing streak and with hardly ANY offense to speak of where BYU rolls over in quarter #2 allowing 21 points ??? while stumbling into halftime down 21-10 and now this debacle. If I was voting just in top 25 polling on this team after this I would be tempted to dump them no less than 8-10 spots down toward the middle-teens at best.
