RE: Kansas won on the fluke of all flukes!
That was huge but don't forget the offensive flubs like tossing an interception directly to a defender in the end zone for NO REASON AT ALL at the end of the first half plus that horrible final offensive series in the red zone to seal the loss. They looked bad in 4 plays from scrimmage which included making only a few yards of progress while taking a dumb penalty plus tossing a 4th down play into the arms of a receiver in heavy traffic well-short of the 1st down and goal line. We saw a total loss of focus, poise and execution at the end of both halves of football. This team has played well for significant parts of every game including tonight, however they looked vulnerable coming into this one and look even moreso on the back side of it. If they don't shore up the mental mistakes thing there is at least one more loss coming up and this loss should pretty much keep BYU out of the playoff picture all by itself. They could remain on the edge of that story but hard to see it happening esp. after squeaking out a couple of wins in the last 4 games plus losing to this sub-500 team. A significant part of the blame for this goes toward the coaching staff in my view. I wager if we knew the whole story there was almost definitely at least some confusion on the sidelines involved in some of the above.
