I love posts like this, love being given a reason for optimism - let's go!
In fact, there's a lot of truth here. Looking back, ISU barely beat UCF, couldn't really stop their rushing attack. People interpreted it as UCF finally matching expectations but then we slammed the lid on that.

Next game, ISU again couldn't stop TT and got their first loss. The Kansas game is an extension of the same trend. When ISU got so far behind, they had to give up on running the ball. They still almost got back in the game but a pick-6 and a turnover on downs at midfield made it impossible - things that probably wouldn't have happened if ISU wasn't pressing on offense.

Conclusion: Kansas offense is legit but faced a depleted ISU defense that allowed them 31 points in the first half (but only 1 offensive TD in the 2nd). Our defense, at full strength, will be a much more difficult test. Kansas defense is ok but has allowed a lot of points this year.

I like our chances.
