fan's dream for a low-expectation team.
Every year with every team I follow, it is usually ho-hum, some ups, more frequently disappointment, and a season that ends as "meh."
I can't think of a time in my life where the team I cheer for has changed exceeded my expectations beyond anything I could have "realistically" hoped for.
I don't know the next time I will feel something like this, but there's a not-so-small chance that I don't get to see a season like this ever again. I'm really just trying to enjoy the feeling while knowing that it could end on any week.
Of course I want us to win all the way to 15-0. A B12 championship would be absolutely amazing, and extremely validating for the team. But like OP said, if we end at 9-4 with a win against Utah, I would be content. Everything past this is gravy. That's not to say I think we are a bad or a "lucky" team or that we are likely to lose, just that sports are inherently volatile, and I want to enjoy this season for what it is without ruining it by stressing about how high the committee is going to rank us if we lose.
