I can’t help but think Wilner in this article is in some sense insinuating that Utah is still not really a part of the big 12. Is it a conflict if the officials and both opponents are all part of the Big 12?

Yeah an undefeated team got the call and keeps playoff hopes alive, but say they don’t make the call. In that case a Big 12 team gets a good upset win against a good Big 12 team. It’s big 12 all the way around wether Utah is excited about it or not.
