I don't think it is realistic to coach players to "hold more" at the end of
games. I think players are tired and nervous about getting beat and are perhaps more likely to hold at the end of games.

What I do think happens at the U, and probably now happens at the Y a bit as well, is coaching players to be aggressive, push the lines of what is allowed, and coaching techniques on how to get away with holding. Generally. At all points of the game.
