shortcomings. He doesn't appear to be great in the X's and O's, and has always struggled with clock management. He is slow to fire assistants which is critical due to his inability to cover their responsibilities plus his own.
Overall I think he's a good recruiter based on what he has to work with.
I am happy for his success. He's a BYU guy and so easy to root for. I hope he can continue to make the hiring decisions necessary and be great at evaluating talent in that process so he can do what he does best.
