When handing the ball off to LJ Martin is getting you 6-8 yards per pop, FEED THE MAN. Instead we'll see LJ get like 1 carry every 4-5 plays.
Or when our basic offense is moving the ball with ease, there's no reason to whip out a trick play (Ropati pass)
Sometimes the path of least resistance is the best way to go even if it's predictable or super simple. If its working, roll with it.

There are definitely times where you need to get super creative to manufacture some offense, but a lot of times the most basic plays are effective enough to methodically move the ball down the field
