So when it doesn’t get called 9 out of 10 times, well, they can live with that ratio. That’s a big part of why their defense is so good all the time.

Same with NFL teams like Seattle back in the day and Baltimore every day.

Not sure if I’d like them to start calling it every time or not. Probably not because that would maddeningly slow down the games.

Would definitely boost offenses but even the NBA had to scale back the hand check rule after trying something similar.

But maybe set the tone early every game by calling a few? I dunno.
