"Being disrespected helped us." Uhhh.. we would've still been disrespected based upon the results of the 2023 season anyways.

Top 25 rankings shouldn't be a thing until after week 4. The people doing the voting are probably going to try and figure out there top 25 regardless anyways but there shouldn't be an official voting on it until after week 4.

I was trying to use various examples to point this out before. USC was ranked #23 pre-season and LSU was #13 so they play and USC wins. So were they really a top 25 team based upon the results of Week 1? They haven't proven that based upon the rest of their season. USC's current record is 4 - 5 the same as Utah. Utah isn't a top 25 team either.

What I'm trying to point out is because of these early weeks of ranking it gives people the false impression that all these teams are top #25 teams because they beat teams that were ranked top 25 early on in the season.
