FEI ratings have all 6 of those teams in the top 10, BYU down at 21.

The only argument could be Indiana's SOS is either worse or similar than BYU's, but they've blown out all teams they've played other than Michigan.

Texas and and Tennesee's SOS are slightly better than BYU's.

Penn State, Ohio State, and Oregon's SOS is significantly better than BYU's.
