Over the course of 12 years I’d be shocked if he’s never experienced teams under his purview both winning and losing after calls that had some level of controversy from coaches or fans.
There’s no excuses. That doesn’t mean no forgiveness, mind you. Hans made a comment about mistakes being made in emotional moments. And words can be forgiven but acts of violence are more difficult to forgive.
So Harland can be forgiven - but there is no valid excuse. He needs to just accept responsibility without trying to justify.
