There was a play where we were all in a huddle at 15 seconds left on the play

clock. And it seemed we had been in that huddle for longer than that when they cut the camera to the huddle. We broke the huddle, and then their lineman slowly jogged towards the sideline. The ref stood over the ball all the way to 0.

It’s not always a a matter of substituting late. Utah just goes beyond the norm, and refs won’t call it.

Rule proposal: If the offense has their personnel on with :15 remaining then it switches to defensive delay of game.

Agreed - one time we finished our sub with 18 seconds on the clock. We had to take a time out.
