I am so sorry, My sister + Bro-In-Law are 6ish weeks since losing their son
It is brutal.
They go out trick or treating, they miss him
Kids come and trick or treat at their house, they miss him.
They walk past his bedroom, they miss him.
By most outward appearances, they are doing really well. But it is easy to see they are hurting based on the fact that. They don't enjoy their hobbies they normally enjoy, My sister is occassionally responding to text messages at 2:30 AM, and they use to be minimalist budgeting types, and out of nowhere they are spending money. . . They bough tickets to go to Dallas for Big12 CCG (and visit family, in case BYU is not playing)
They got tickets to tonights game.
It's interest to see what habits have completely disappeared with the loss of their son.
